• Great Leaders Use the Power of Dreams - Why do so many people play such long odds? The answer is: It gives them an opportunity to dream. People are willing to invest in dreams, even when they know the odds are against them.
• City Planning LOLCATS - Last week students at Ohio State University sent a survey out asking students and professionals from across the country for their ideas for how they would like to engage with APA and other professional organizations through social media platforms. We received hundreds of really great ideas. Many of the responses focused on creating fun ways to engage around planning topics.
• Take Harsh Criticism in Stride - Whether it’s an office rival or a well-intended colleague, someone will likely say something punitive or hurtful to you at some point in your career.
