The votes are in and the results have been tabulated: after a week of nominations and voting by our community, ELGL is thrilled to announce the winner of the Knope of the Week! As a reminder, The Knope of the Week honors individuals or groups who have done the most in the past week to advance the mission of ELGL.
Without further ado, the winner of the 20th Knope of the Week goes to the . . . .
Chris Workman, City of Veneta Human Resources & Risk Management Administrator
Chris is spearheading the creation of an ELGL chapter in Eugene. In a short time, he has coordinated the first meeting, communicated the event with potential attendees including University of Oregon students, and set the meeting agenda. Chris’ enthusiasm is indicative of the increasing commitment by many to promote the local government profession by offering opportunities for the public and private sector to develop key relationships.
Keep up the good work, Chris.
