Deschutes County is seeking a County Administra-tor who is a progressive and energetic manager. The County has a reputation for innovative pilot programs and needs an administrator who has broad knowledge and experience in public sector management and can hit the ground running at all levels of county government.
The County relies on a vast amount of collabora-tion from its regional partners. The ideal candidate must have the experience and personality neces-sary to maintain and nurture the successful collab-oration Deschutes County currently shares with its regional partners. The candidate will be expected to build relationships within and outside the Coun-ty, promote effective and positive intergovernmen-tal relations, and evaluate ways to develop “com-munity partnerships.”
