You have to consider comfort, the degree of A/C (or lack thereof) in your building, and employer dress guidelines — all while looking your stylish best.
“You don’t want to get too much attention for what you’re wearing and also be too exposed,” notes Kami Gray, a Portland personal stylist who provides wardrobe styling for television, video and photo shoots.
It’s difficult to offer universal dress code guidelines because some workplaces are much more formal than others, and others have safety considerations that supersede style.
