ELGL has been invited to present at the 3CMA Conference which is taking place from September 5-7 in Portland, Oregon. We hope to see familiar faces in the audience during our session on Friday, September 7 (tentatively scheduled for 10:45 a.m.)
Below is a rough outline of our topic.
More Than A Handshake: Creating Meaningful Networking Opportunities
Please join Kent and Kirsten Wyatt from the Emerging Local Government Leaders Network, and Anna Johnson from Deschutes County, Oregon for a break out session on local networking programs and how local government networking can provide meaningful personal and professional opportunities. Actionable takeaways from this session will include tips on social media use, creating an “attitude of gratitude,” and best practices learned from local government leaders in Oregon.
You can register for the conference at 2012 Annual Conference – Portland, OR “Brewing-Up Success in Local Government”
“Brewing-Up Success in Local Government”
Innovation, creativity and originality are not just buzzwords in Oregon; they are a way of life. The 2012 3CMA Annual Conference in Portland this September 5 – 7 promises to be one of the best conferences in 3CMA history.
Brewing Up Success in Local Government is more than a conference theme. You’ll be able to choose from dozens of innovative workshops that touch on every aspect of communications that will provide you with the ingredients to brew up your own successful concoctions back home. As always, there will be ample opportunity to network and share ideas with peers from around the country. This year’s Savvy Awards will be presented during the luncheon on Thursday.
