The primary purpose of this position is to link Regions comprised of 2 counties (Washington, Clackamas) business development opportunities with Department and State program resources and technical assistance. The Business Development Officer promotes, coordinates, and facilitates retention, expansion, and recruitment opportunities for the region in partnership with regional partners and local governments. Negotiates and makes recommendations for business resources on behalf of the State.
