Database Administrator (Business Systems Analyst)

Salary:  $5,232.00 – $6,976.00 Monthly

The Database Administrator is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining databases to support Bureau of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) projects and programs. A key responsibility of this position is to analyze the data needs of BPS staff, research and design database products to meet those needs, and manage these database projects from conceptualization to completion. The Database Administrator also manages and administers BPS’s Salesforce CRM database.

Emergency Management Operations Manager

Salary:  $7,356.00 – $9,796.00 Monthly

The Emergency Management Operations Manager leads the Operations Section, serves as the Emergency Coordination Center Manager during emergency incidents and oversees special projects for the bureau. The Operations Section is responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of the City’s Emergency Coordination Center (ECC) and citywide ECC personnel, coordinating the PBEM Duty Officer program, delivering training and educational programs to the public via the Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) program, coordinating the Basic Earthquake Emergency Communication Node (BEECN) program, administering the city’s crisis management software and community emergency notification system and overseeing the daily operations of the Operations Section including employee performance management, technology, communications and facilities.

CAD Technician I

The CAD Technician I is an entry-level class that works under general supervision. Incumbents are responsible for performing and coordinating standard to moderately difficult assignments using computer aided drafting (CAD) software. Incumbents will work under general supervision to create and modify standard to moderately difficult maps and drawings.
