We awarded the “Best Local Government Video” to Dane County, WI. Now, we are scouring North America to identify the local government with the best overall social media presence. We’ve narrowed the 50 nominations to the top 14. The finalists come from across the United States and Canada. (Props to Regina, SK.) We’ve compiled a Twitter list with each of the nominees.

The winner of the “Trending Now” award is now in your hands. Vote in the poll below by 6/21/16. The results will be used to narrow the field to the final four.

I submitted a nomination for Town of Castle Rock, Colo., on June 2, but I don’t see us on the list. Bummer we are not in the running!

Haven’t been to Castle Rock in years…..not since my grandmother passed away and several of us me to go through her belongings. She was a bit eccentric and by the time she passed her humble home was next door to some nice, modern subdivisions but she had refused to sell the remainder of what I understand was originally something like 160 of homesteaded property. She and my great-grandmother were early settlers in the area arriving via covered wagon as the family story goes.

  • Please vote for SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA.. I have lived here for over 40 years and I am madly in love with my city! They say “The other man’s grass is always greener on the other side.” I can assure you.. THIS is the “other side!”
