Seeking full-time skilled professional to oversee the management, administration, financial administration and direction of City operations. The City Manager is appointed by and serves at the pleasure of the Mayor and six-member City Council. Silverton is a full-service city. Service areas include: Administrative Services, Finance, Community Development and Building, Public Works, Municipal Court, and Police. The City also operates an Urban Renewal Agency. Fire services and library services are operated by special districts.
A minimum of five years experience as a City Manager/Administrator or Assistant City Manager/Administrator in a community of similar size and dynamics is required. Bachelor's degree in public administration or related field is required; Masters degree is preferred.
