Irving, TX is seeking a talented individual with enthusiasm and experience in crafting digital messages, managing social media, and engaging the public.  This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging leader with a passion for communication, engagement, and local government.

The Coordinator will (among other responsibilities) build, evolve, and integrate digital communications into the overall marketing communications plan for the city of Irving; establish and lead an interdepartmental social media team to share best practices and enhance learning; and strategize, write, and push out accurate and timely messaging across all digital channels to inform the audience and enhance engagement.

A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in communications, journalism or a related field and a minimum of five years of professional experience in communications, media relations or marketing required. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills; excellent written and oral communications skills; and ability to work well individually and as part of a team..
