At 121 years young, Milwaukee City Hall has been home to three Socialist Mayors, a bell named Solomon Juneau, a couple of suicides (c’mon it was the great depression!) and at least two extensive restorations. In the spirit of open government the building is laid bare for in depth tours every fall during Doors Open Milwaukee, including tours up to the bell tower. Love, love my new home in Wisconsin, and especially love Milwaukee, but grew up in Sierra Madre (right next to Pasadena) — so hard to cast a vote!!!

  • Pasadena City Hall was also Pawnee City Hall on “Parks and Recreation”
