The City of Crestwood is seeking candidates for the position of Finance Officer. This position performs complex professional and administrative work involving planning, organizing, directing and evaluating all phases of the City’s financial activities.
He/She performs accounting, prepares financial statements, ensures budgetary compliance, oversees internal controls, executes the City’s investment policy, and performs various other financial analysis projects including the preparation of materials for the annual budget and audit. He/She oversees all finance staff.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree with major course work in finance, accounting, economics, business or public administration, and at least three years of progressively responsible supervisory experience in local government finance.
A Master’s degree and/or CPA designation is preferred. Pay range is $77,500 – 105,000.
