One of the most important roles local governments will play in response to COVID-19 over the next few months is communication. Polco/National Research Center is a partner of ELGL, and we believe we can help ELGL members quickly begin communicating with residents about COVID-19 to identify knowledge gaps and understand community concerns.
It is also the time to find out how residents get their information and how they can most effectively hear important messages from their local government about this pandemic.
NRC/Polco is sharing the below linked article of best practices, and a set of survey questions local governments can post on Polco, for free. These survey questions were developed by our expert survey scientists (one of whom also has a background in epidemiology).
