Interactive Workshop: TOP at the State, Local, and Tribal Level

The Opportunity Project’s (TOP’s) model has been used for years at the federal level, and in 2021 it successfully expanded into the hands of city leaders. Four cities, two in collaboration with the Census Bureau and two in collaboration with our partners at the Georgetown Beeck Center and Centre for Public Impact, used TOP methodology to find technological solutions to issues facing their communities.

In this workshop, join Census Open Innovation Labs and non-profit partner Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL) to identify challenges within your communities that could be solved through local government-technology industry collaboration, and learn how you can adopt TOP model to bring those ideas to life.
