Last night ELGL members gathered over some good beer, nachos, and comprehensive annual financial reports. Toby LaFrance the finance director at the City of Tigard and Casey Camors the finance director at the City of Milwaukie gave a presentation on how they use financial documents as effective communications tools. The presentation was informative and light hearted, attendees didn’t want to leave it was so engaging (although the nachos also could have played a factor). Thanks Toby and Casey for a great happy hour! You can download their presentation and their 8 C’s of Communication in Public Documents below.
