While Portland may have been named one of the whitest cities in the country, the City has become a leader in addressing equity issues in their workforce. One of their cool initiatives is the City of Portland Workforce Demographics.

Joseph Wahl, City of Portland Office of Equity and Human Rights, highlighted the dashboard in a response to the recent #13Percent: I’m a 36-Year Old White Male article. Joseph has agreed to write an article on the dashboard and other observations from his work. ELGL will also host a forum with him in the coming months.
