Pitch your community as the location for ELGL23 or ELGL24

ELGL's annual conference is a great opportunity for local government leaders and lovers to come together to learn, interact, and share their successes in their respective fields.

In 2023, we're opening up the opportunity to host the annual ELGL conference to local cities and towns across the U.S. In our first-ever pitch program the ELGL conference planning committee will select two municipal governments to host the 2023 and 2024 ELGL annual conferences.

Below is a survey that allows you to highlight the reasons ELGL23 or ELGL24 will thrive in your community. Finalists will be selected from this survey and may be asked to pitch their conference experience via video in early 2023.

Surveys are due Jan. 31, 2023. Notification of survey finalists will occur by Feb. 24, 2023.

Traditionally, conferences are held in the fall of the calendar year with considerations given to other major conferences. Typically the ELGL conference includes two full days of local government learning plus connection and networking opportunities for up to 300 conference attendees, sponsors, and speakers.
