The biggest issue facing local government is… Managing growth (development, historic culture/neighborhoods, affordable housing)
My pro tip for getting the most out of professional conferences… Spend time planning which sessions to attend. Waiting until the last minute can make it overwhelming or, even worse, you’ll skim over a great program. (Also, bring really comfortable walking shoes.)
