If you had to live in a different city, what city would you choose?
Whatever City I end up becoming a City Manager for is where I want to plant my family’s roots. I want to be a part of a community not just work for one. (P.S. the city MUST have a historic downtown)
Storytelling or Innovation? Which is the most overused word in local government?
Innovation. Storytelling is a newer buzzword for local government; furthermore, it’s humanizing the profession – which is awesome!

I’m very early in my local government career. I don’t feel I’ve had the experience to answer this question. I’m still sporting rose-colored glasses and think everything is awesome!
