Erin is a leader in innovation in Scottsdale, so much so that she will be leading the city’s new I-Team, which will tackle long standing challenges with innovative solutions developed through an engaging process of human centered design. Erin participated in the Bloomberg Cities Innovation Training Program last year, emerging as a leader on a cross-departmental team and was even recognized as the Bloomberg Cities “Innovator of the Week”. https://bloombergcities.jhu.edu/news/librarians-take-innovation
During the pandemic, Erin focused on finding ways to continue delivering the library’s adult programing while maintaining social distancing. Through offering many classes online class enrollment and attendance increased noticeably, even with the libraries in Scottsdale reopening more of the community is engaged than ever!
