ELGL is pleased to be partnering with Coraggio Group to provide a cohort-based recovery and resiliency planning program intended for smaller or rural local governments (or specific departments within) that may not have the funds or the organizational capacity for a more comprehensive planning effort . As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to linger, it is increasingly evident that there won’t be a quick, sustained recovery; instead, most communities are experiencing an uneven recovery with rolling waves of shutdowns alternating with periods that allow more economic activity. For any community to manage the uncertainty and emerge on the other side with a strong, completive economy, recovery planning is essential.
Participating organizations will work together with a cohort of similar organizations to foster collaborative learning through a series of facilitated interactive online workshops to produce an actionable and tactical Community Specific Recovery & Resiliency Plan. This three-month program will be led by several professionals with direct experience in the public sector and local government.
Please note, for this cohort we will only be taking about 10-12 organizations to participate in small groups.
April 1 – June 24, 2021
Biweekly live meetings, exact times TBD
Sessions will be recorded for participants unable to attend live
