Everyone has a “hot take” these days from the talking heads at ESPN to political pundits filling the air on cable. ELGL cannot (and will not) be left out. We are asking new members to give us their hot takes on an array of issues.

What reminds you of childhood?

The incredibly wonderful feeling (happens once a year or so) of getting into bed while it’s still light outside.

What was the last gift you gave someone?

That would be a nice Pinot Noir, Kent!

Tell us three facts about yourself that we wouldn’t find on your LinkedIn profile.

  • I was born and raised in the United Kingdom.
  • I played Annie in a professional show in the UK when I was 12.
  • I’m still a musical theatre junkie (there’s a show tune for every moment).

If you were to get rid of one state in the U.S., which would it be and why?

Not going to answer that one, Kent, but it might have something to do with the electoral map from last Tuesday!

Who or what motivates you to be successful?

I just love getting stuff done – it’s a big motivator for me (especially if someone tells me it isn’t going to happen).

What question(s) should we have asked you?

What book am I reading right now, you say? My work book group picked Boys in the Boat (Daniel James Brown). It wasn’t looking likely that I was going to get through it in time so I downloaded the audio book. Best move ever! It’s gripping, and fabulous to listen to. It’s all about finding your swing. I’d recommend it.
