I am Lauren, I am the queen, and I like everything (bonus points to anyone who knows the children’s book that inspired this)
What three things would you change about local government?
- The pace at which things get done,
- The “not my job” mentality, and
- The stiff Lands Ends collared shirts with iron-on municipal seals.
If ELGL gave you $10 million right now, what would you do?
I would pay for one of the CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) L line expansion projects, and my only request would be to pick the color that it’s named.
Is summer overrated?
No way! Growing up in West Michigan meant my days were split between working part time at Pizza Hut and the glorious Lake Michigan beaches.
What’s the one skill that you wish you had?
I wish I could speak another language, unfortunately waiting until the ripe age of 18 in SP 100 at Aquinas College is not the best time to start.
