What’s the best networking advice for job seekers you’ve heard or shared?  

“Never met a stranger,” The person you met yesterday at the store could easily be the CEO interviewing you the next day.

What’s the fastest way to NOT get a job or internship with you? (e.g. what should potential applicants avoid doing if they were to ever interview with you for a position).

Being dishonest is the fastest way NOT to get a job with me.  Applicants must also understand the importance of active listening instead of aggressively talking.

Why should an undergraduate student consider a career working in local government?

Local government is one of the best professions. It affords opportunities to make a difference in communities by impacting lives.

Do you have a work or life motto? What is it? 

“Be yourself; At the end of the day, you will either be liked or disliked, but it’s ok as long as they are liking or disliking YOU!”
