star trek volunteerThe Portland Police Sunshine Division is in need of volunteers to help deliver food boxes this Saturday, June 22nd.  The Sunshine Division delivers emergency food boxes and clothing to Portland families and individuals in need.  This Saturday they need help delivering over 1,000 food boxes to school age children in Portland.  This is part of an annual program called Hunger Doesn’t Take a Vacation, highlighting the fact that children who get free or reduced lunch during the school year are still in need of assistance during the summer months when school isn’t in session.
