Nomination information:

Describe your work and interactions with the nominee – how have you worked with them, on what projects, and in what capacity?

  • CityGrows assisted Erie County  Department of Health (ECDH) with two processes for restaurant and business owners to provide a pandemic response.  They were able to provide a similar form from another location and we could adapt it to ECDH use along with federal guidelines before our state guidelines came out.

What was the product/outcome of your relationship with the company?

  • We were able to work together on this project solely.

What are three words you’d use to describe the company?

  • Timely, Consumer-driven, and knowledgable

Describe the on-boarding process for your work with the company – either when you personally started working with them, or when your organization did. What could someone else in local government know about starting work with this company?

  • It was very easy to get started–go into a meeting with a process in mind, but they will help you from start to finish. You just fill in the in between pieces.

What’s the most interesting or fun aspect of your work with the company?

  • Through our relationship with CityGrows, we were able to share our experience via a national platform (NACo).  CityGrows assisted with spreading the word about our process both at local and national levels and used ECDH as an example for what to do.

What is the company’s pricing structure? Please be as descriptive as possible.

  • Structured pricing, however COVID response templates were not charged (is my understanding).

How has your relationship with the company evolved or changed over time? How has the company reacted to or addressed any changes that your organization has requested in the scope/focus of your work together?

  • This has been a relationship limited to pandemic response and prevention but may evolve in the future.

Anything else to add about the company that we haven’t already asked you?

  • They are partially local to Erie which made them an even bigger winner to us!
