My favorite adventure in life was…. taking a trip to Ireland. I love to travel but Ireland was the place where I really connected with the locals and just enjoyed the country as a whole. That being said, I hope my great adventure is yet to come!
What is the most local government thing you have done on vacation? Maybe this is not a great admission, but I usually don’t do local government type things, well except City Hall selfies. I try to get one where ever I go.
The most important decision that I’ve made in life was… Leaving law school and focusing on public administration. Although, law school was not a mistake, just a detour. It is where I met my husband.
If I was booking the guests for the GovLove podcast, I would book… Ruth Bader Ginsberg because she is rad
If I couldn’t work in my current position, I would… I would love to be a Chief Innovation Officer. I think a lot of good work is being done all over the world in innovation and I would love to lead the charge locally.
The book on your bookshelf that you intend to read but haven’t is… You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life. It was my birthday book from ELGL. I will get to it soon!

What is your recent personal and professional accomplishment? It is not recent, but my work on our Citizens Academy. I love reaching out to residents and shining a light on how local government works. I think it is so important.
I’ll know that I made the right choice to attend #ELGL18 if… Meet some new people and get some fresh ideas.
If I was writing the questions for the feature, I would have asked… What is the craziest fashion trend you have ever rocked? I like this question in ice breakers. It is always fun to imagine people you know now with big hair and/or leg warmers.
