A winner of the ILCMA Local Government Fellowship, Justyn Miller (LinkedIn) has served as the Assistant to the County Administrator, Boone County, IL since 2014. His prior experience includes work for the City of DeKalb, IL and Illinois Office of the Auditor General.
He is a graduate of the Northern Illinois University MPA program and holds an undergraduate degree from Western Illinois University.

Your hometown? What is it best known for?
Geneseo, Illinois. It is best known as a quaint, Victorian community.
Describe the state of local government in your area.
Local government is relatively professional in my area. I am relatively close to Chicago and Rockford which both experience professional management at the local level (for the most part).
What topics or practitioners would you like to see ELGL profile?

The unlimited exchange of knowledge and information.

Dad is an aluminum roll grinder and my mom is an oral surgeons assistant.
