So far, what’s your proudest accomplishment in 2019?
My proudest accomplishment of 2019 is that I just got hired full-time within my organization! I was working as an intern for the first year of my degree program and wanted desperately to keep learning here for the second year of my program. Now I can!

What I love about my job is how much room there is to learn from and work with people who are invested in our community and improving the city in every way that they can.

In 2009 I was in 8th grade! I was reading a ton of books at that time, which I think shaped the way I view other people’s stories and experiences–something that I think is essential for local government and performance management.

The first time was probably at a conference. However, the first time I truly looked into it was when my colleague made a post about her work being published on ELGL’s website and the day before I’d seen our Deputy City Manager wearing ELGL socks. It was truly a sign.
