This Wednesday, April 1, is Census Day! To mark the occasion, the US Census Bureau is asking for local government support on social media.
Below linked, please find a Census Day Social Media Guide with all of the details. The US Census Bureau’s goal is to take over social media with people showing their support of the 2020 Census, and they need your help to make it happen!
In the guide, you’ll find content for three posts throughout the day — a Census Day roadblock, a Census Day video, and a Census Day pledge. The Bureau hopes this makes it easy for you to join us in encouraging census response on Census Day.
As a reminder, Census Day is a key reference date for the 2020 Census that is observed nationwide. When completing the census, responses should include everyone living at that household as of April 1, 2020.
