This week one of Bridget Doyle’s ELGL articles appeared in the Oregon City/County Management Association’s (OCCMA) quarterly newsletter! The article, “Journalists with ‘Quotas’ are Looking for Stories… Let’s Help,” was first featured as a part of Bridget’s column Communication Breakdown. Her analysis of how journalism’s shift in the internet age has impacted local governments is a must read for anyone in communications.
We are so excited to see a Communications Coordinator from Lombard, Illinois share her knowledge with city managers all over the state of Oregon. Because of her work with ELGL she is able to share her expertise 2,000 miles away! Making connections like this is a guiding principle for ELGL.
One of ELGL’s goals is to give people opportunities to gain professional experience, make a difference, and influence ideas across the country. If you are interested in writing for the ELGL blog just email kirsten@sarahhellems.wpengine.com with your ideas, we want to hear them!
