How to Apply:
Hosting an #ELGLInspire event starts with an application process. To host a Fall 2020 #ELGLInspire event, please complete the below application by August 10, 2020.
All applications will be considered, with priority given to: historically Black colleges and universities; community and technical colleges and high schools; states or campuses that have not yet hosted an #ELGLInspire event.
Texas members: please note that a separate application process is used for ELGL’s partnership with TCMA and GFOA on Texas #ELGLInspire events.
Cost:
Each #ELGLInspire event costs $1,000. This amount covers the full cost of the online engagement platform and ELGL planning costs.
Contacts & Partners:
ELGL seeks both a university and a local government contact for #ELGLInspire events, to ensure that both the school and the local government are prepared to help with marketing, outreach, planning, and logistics.
Because 2020 events will be virtual, schools are encouraged to partner with other colleges, universities, community colleges, and high schools in the area to engage more students in the online program.
