Highlighting the diversity of employment opportunities in state and local government.

The American Society for Public Administration (ASPA)–Sacramento Chapter, the Municipal Management Association of Northern California, and Engaging Local Government Leaders invites you to an event on Careers and Upward Mobility in Local and State Government on Wednesday, February 21.

This event focuses on highlighting the diversity of employment opportunities in State and Local Government and providing tips on how to navigate these two prominent public employment sectors in the Sacramento Region. This event includes speakers with experience in each sector that will provide an overview on how to navigate employment within the sector, including the following: where to search for employment opportunities, how to navigate the application processes, how to navigate the interview processes, and how to climb the career ladder. The event includes a Q&A session. Refreshments will be served.
