At the beginning of 2022, ELGL started updating our strategic plan — the guiding document for everything ELGL does to amplify the good and engage the brightest minds in local government. ELGL Staff, Board Members, and ELGL Members like YOU provided input and feedback through community meetings, crowdsourced social media posts, emails, surveys, and more to help guide the organization for years to come. And now, the newest strategic plan is live!
How to Use the Plan
ELGL’s Strategic Plan provides the big-picture direction for the organization over the next three years. Each year, sta will prepare and propose and the board will adopt a work plan that implements the Strategic Plan. The work plan will include the activities and performance measures to clearly communicate the work that is being done to advance the organization’s vision, mission, values, and goals.
What You Can Expect
The priorities and goals in this document will align to an annual work plan so the work of ELGL is linked back to the Strategic Plan’s guiding priorities and goals. You can expect to see a work plan that looks something like this,
