Again, too many to choose from, but my favorite new pandora stations include 30 Seconds to Mars, The Civil Wars,Ingrid Michaelson, and Mumford & Sons

I have been fascinated to watch what is happening in Portland and their form of government. Such a great city in so many ways, but I think their outdated commission form of government is really causing damage that could have long-term consequences. Wish their citizens would either transition to a true strong mayor of government or a council-manager form of government. Their current system is antiquated and does not work (even if you call yourself the city that works”

Ben Kittelson, Newsroom Intern, Oregon Metro

traskWhat Are You Reading?

Trask by Don Berry. A story about a pioneer on the Oregon Coast.

What Are You Working On Now?

I am currently writing a story about what makes up a resident’s monthly garbage bill. Like how much goes to the hauler, how much is a franchise fee, and how much goes to pay the tipping fee.

What Are You Listening To Now?

Lost in the Dream by The War on Drugs

What Current Topic or Trend Fascinates You?

How do we make it easier for people to drive less and take alternative transportation more.
