Lauren Palmer

 

Lauren Palmer is a Co-Founder and Partner for EverStrive, a public-sector consulting firm that specializes in strategic planning, facilitation, coaching and project management. She has held executive local government roles in four municipalities in three states including city administrator and assistant city manager. She previously served as the director of local government services for the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), the regional council of governments serving 119 cities and nine counties in the greater Kansas City area. Lauren oversaw MARC’s work in emergency services, public safety communications, housing, and other shared services. Lauren is an ICMA Credentialed Manager who has a strong reputation for getting to the heart of the matter, maintaining a high level of productivity across diverse service lines, and developing talent so teams can achieve their best. She began her local government career as a Management Intern and Management Analyst in Des Moines, IA. Lauren serves on the advisory board for the Greater Kansas City Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC). She was recognized as a top influencer in local government with a 2019 Traeger Award from Engaging Local Government Leaders (ELGL). Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Master of Public Administration degree from Indiana University.
