Check out this new opportunity to convene with ELGL members about a specific topic. We’re calling them ELGL Roundtables and these are member-led opportunities to connect with other members working on similar topics.
ELGL Roundtables are three month immersive learning experiences focused on a specific local government emerging topic. Roundtables offer a collective learning environment where one can:
- Learn from and with other local government professionals,
- Access shared ideas, information and experts in the field, and
- Collaborate with local government contemporaries to apply best practices in your work.
This Roundtable learning model prepares participants with timely and relevant tools that can be used directly in their jobs to tackle tough issues, implement complex programs or services or create local government plans.
$25 for ELGL members only
Co-working and learning on Fridays via Zoom, July 9 – September 24 at 11PT/2ET
Roundtable members will share resources and information in an online engagement platform so templates, memos, and other documents can be crowdsourced and shared
As determined by the Roundtable members, opportunities may include: weekly/bi-weekly guest speakers, co-working sessions for idea sharing, etc.
Who Should Apply
This pilot opportunity is offered for ELGL members only. Join ELGL here. Anyone working on local government COVID recovery efforts is encouraged to apply. We ask that participants make a commitment to attend the scheduled sessions, contribute ideas for session topics and speakers, and use this opportunity as a way to connect with and learn from other ELGL members working in this space.
Applications will be accepted through June 14.
