Bio: I’m a staff writer at the Washington Post, where I cover national urban policy issues ranging from housing to transportation, to urban planning and inequality. I’m based in Washington but am interested in these stories as they play out in cities all over the country.
First paying job: I was an agate clerk in the sports department of the Chicago Tribune my last year of high school.
Soundtrack of your life: Hmmm. My cats are named after Louis Jordan’s “Beans and Cornbread”
