Jim Patterson, Former City Manager, Corvallis, OR; Oregon State University

Bio: Former City Manager in Sherwood Oregon and Corvallis, home to Oregon State University. Led the effort with the City of Corvallis and Oregon State University called Collaboration Corvallis. The focus of the effort was to deal with the explosive growth of OSU and the impact on neighborhood livability, neighborhood traffic and parking, and neighborhood planning.

Bio: My job can be described as being where the buck starts and stops. I spend a great deal of time Coaching/troubleshooting with staff on projects and issues. I also find a key role of my position is delegating assignments to key staff and monitoring progress. Making sure goals and objectives are completed is also a critical function.
