Meet Brittany Bennett! She’s a Development, Policy, and Impact Associate at Self-Help Credit Union in Durham, NC. (Not familiar with Self-Help? Check it out – it’s an amazing organization that provides financing, technical support, consumer financial services and advocacy for those left out of the economic mainstream.)
Brittany initially proposed the idea of an ELGL Twittersation about the recent events in Ferguson, MO. With Brittany’s help, we’re crafting questions and scope for our Twittersation on Friday, August 22 at 10 a.m. PST.
Here’s some background on Brittany:
- She’s a graduate of Emory University with a BS in Anthropology & Human Biology.
- She has her MPA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
- She has an amazing resume, ranging from the UNC School of Government, to Person County, NC, to Fountainworks, to CityYear, to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Want to help Brittany as she prepares our outline and questions for the Twittersation? Send her an email.
We’ll see you on Twitter on Friday – don’t forget to use the hashtag #ELGLFerguson during our discussion.
