Hello from Collierville, Tennessee! This is your hostess, Jennifer Casey, the Emerging Media Specialist for the Town of Collierville’s Public Information Office. I will be taking you around Town on Tuesday, November 27th as we participate in #ELGLTakeoverTuesday!
Collierville is located just east of Memphis, Tennessee. We are a Town of just over 50,000 people and while we are a bustling, growing community, we are well known for having a charming, small-town feel. We have even been compared to Stars Hollow, and for all you ‘Gilmore Girls’ fans, you’ll get to see our quaint Town Square decked out for the holiday season.
As a matter of fact, November 27th is the Town of Collierville Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, so you will get to experience some of the buzz and hear see how we go all out for the holiday season. As our downtown prepares for the Tree Lighting, we will travel all around Collierville to see some of our fabulous parks, beautiful Town Hall, and much more.

Jennifer is the Emerging Media Specialist for the Town of Collierville’s Public Information Office, writing content for traditional and online communication, and covering creative messaging through graphic design, photography, and videography. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis with a degree in Journalism. A native to the Memphis area, she spends her free time raising two children named after US Presidents, enjoys staying fit but does not particularly like to exercise, and loves her mother’s gluten-free baking.
