#ELGLTakeoverTuesday: Wauwatosa, Wisconsin

Posted on November 12, 2018

Wauwatosa [wau-wau-TŌ-sa] is named after the Potawatomi word for “firefly.” It’s an icon of sorts for the city. You can see it in the design of signs, and some businesses incorporate it into their name.

It’s a neat thought – comparing a city and bioluminescent beauties. I do think they both are very unique, and I’m eager to show you why.

During my takeover, I’ll show you a bit of what I do as well as the cool things happening in Tosa. You can expect to see:

  • Enterprise Resource Planning: how the entire city is planning for an upgrade, and how we say BUH-BYE to the 1990s
  • What does professional development mean when you work for Tosa?
  • National GIS Day. We are extremely pumped about all kinds of maps and what they mean for the city
  • Obviously a coffee stop at some point

Yours,

Eva
