Drum roll… Thursday, June 25 is the date for our first-official Michigan ELGL Meet-Up! So, mark your calendars please! Details for the Michigan ELGL event, dubbed “THE Evening Buzz”
Time: Open event, 6 to 9 p.m. (though you’re welcome to stay longer!)

We have a space on the lower level reserved just for us. Drinks are up to you, but ELGL will be providing a spread of appetizers that are open to all. We’ll also have some great ELGL swag to pass out to attendees. Who doesn’t love free stuff?
The answer is obviously ELGL members, but please do invite your coworkers, friends and fellow local government enthusiasts! Even other public service-type jobs (library, schools, zoo) are welcome in ELGL.
The event will be very casual — just meeting one another, conversation about local government and maybe even conversation about not local government. Ideally, this is about making contact so we can start brainstorming how Michigan ELGL can have a bigger presence in the national ELGL scene.
