Full Description

This is the time of year we start fresh with our newly updated strategic plans, and many of us are also about to begin the next Budget planning season.  Many times without easy access to your business data, you don’t know you have problems until it’s a major concern. Couple that with the ongoing request for Public Information to be shared through your website as part of the United States’ push to greater transparency – now, more than ever before, harnessing your data and putting it to proactive use is paramount in an organization’s long term fiscal health.

Have you thought about creative ways to solve your organization’s ongoing and new business problems?  It’s time to consider how to tap the data resident in your operational systems to help you reach your organizational goals.

This in person workshop will show you examples of how you can easily transform your raw data into intelligence that can be used for effective problem solving, without needing technical expertise. For example, what if you could easily have a set of metrics you define that helps you spot trends, fiscal health, and revenues for better budget planning? In the first half of our workshop you’ll see how you could easily set your own KPI’s and ad hoc reports to help you analyze and troubleshoot problems before they occur.

With the use of easy to install Public Sector Business Intelligence and Transparency solutions, you can connect to your data in a way that presents the problems to you. You no longer have to dig through spreadsheets. This can deliver an immediate return on investment for your organization.

The second half of the workshop will be an opportunity to collaborate with your peers at other local organizations.  We’ll work together to identify common problems local governments are facing and which Key Performance Indicators might be used to link to your data to facilitate and present the problems and highlight your next steps toward solutions.

This is the year of using data to solve problems; you’ll come away with a better understanding of common business problems and how you can utilize your data to quickly give you the path forward to innovative solutions.
