So far, what’s your proudest accomplishment in 2019?

Completing a facade improvement program in a historically underserved area of Evanston. It was an investment of $100,000 that benefitted 6 low-income businesses.

What do you “love” about your job?

Having the opportunity to help communities with placemaking, and advocating for economic justice.

10 Year Challenge! What were you doing in 2009? How did it help you reach your current position?

In 2009 I was a freshman/sophomore in college, and was traveling around the country with the Mock Trial team, had I not done that, I would have never learned about urban planning, therefore, I would have never landed in local government,

“What are your passions in life?” Plants, futbol, crossfit, Latin American and pre-Columbian history, and good urban planning.
