ELGL is partnering with the the University of Michigan’s School of Information and Taubman College of Architecture and Planning to promote the #micities2014 conference. This is a great opportunity for ELGL members to connect and learn how technology is changing local government.

From now until August 22 conference organizers are accepting proposals for the inaugural #micities conference being held in Ann Arbor, MI. The Conference will feature participant-driven content pertaining to three key areas. All conference sessions will focus on the changing nature of civic engagement, reinvention of municipal administration, or new tools being used for urban planning.

The day-long conference will focus on the unique challenges and opportunities of local government, offering an opportunity for activists, entrepreneurs, and municipal employees to connect and discuss the challenges facing communities. #micities2014 will be held in downtown Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan Union.
