What better way to learn about a new ELGL member than a series of extremely personal questions that may or may not be work related. That is our goal in the New Sensation feature. Whether it is learning about a person’s top accomplishments in the last 24 hours or learning about the inside of their car, you learn more here than any icebreaker that you’ve been a part of.

Thanks for hosting literally the best local government conference ever (who comes up with all of the parks and rec references anyway?) – maybe next year we can have a Rent A Swag booth to spiff ourselves up, ya?

- Finishing up my MPA; one more paper to go!
- Life.
Describe the inside of your car. I don’t have a car, but I have a bike. The inside of my bike bag currently contains today’s lunch, an anniversary card I need to send to my parents, my canvas Mumbai bag, bike lights, my ipod and a bungee cord.
Most recent concert you attended: A couple of the summer zoo/Washington Park amphitheater concerts.

What song best describes your life?
I had to google this one. I took an online quiz titled “~*~ What song best describes you~*~” and it tells me that my song is I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’ by the Scissor Sisters. It’s upbeat, the title is an accurate descriptor of me most days and the video is ridiculous, so I’ll go with it.
If you could FaceTime or Skype with three people either dead or alive, who would they be?
- Rosalind Franklin
- Leslie Knope
- Elizabeth Blackwell
Favorite thing to do on a Sunday morning: make tea, breakfast and and then read on the couch (hopefully not a textbook)!
