Often in the Morning Buzz we discuss the topics we’re facing in our careers. Recently I was spring cleaning at the office and came across copies of our old quarterly staff newsletter. I noticed one article discussing budget issues that I just couldn’t believe was written almost 30 years ago. No government employee would write an article today using these words without fear of losing their job.
Without reiterating this entire article, I can say that almost 30 years ago this brave soul hit it out of the park, describing  how many local government employees feel about the environment they work in and what is expected of them. All in the name in saving a nickel.
I urge you to take a few minutes to read this. Not only will you get a chuckle out of the author’s sass but it will reiterate the fact that some things just never change.  Tosa Tib Takes Issue With Budget Discussions.
