This week we sat down with Appleton, WI’s communications coordinator, Chad Doran to discuss local government communications and citizen engagement. He lead the effort to create the city’s new “Appycademy” a citizens academy to learn more about city departments and services. We also discussed what it was like to start a communications effort at a city without much of one.
