Stephanie has been with the City of Tempe for over seven years, promoting innovation in data, performance management and data focused training. She has changed the culture within the city, leading efforts to create tools, processes and training that make data more accessible and usable to support decision making at all levels of the organization and in the community. In her work, Stephanie demonstrates a genuine enthusiasm and excitement for helping people integrate data into their work and decisions.
Stephanie also teaches graduate courses at Arizona State University. In her classes, she shares her passion for public service, demonstrating the importance of data and analysis in local government and how they can make a difference in peoples’ lives. Outside of the classroom, she brings on several interns each year to work on projects and initiatives that highlight the importance of data in local government.
